Little Red Carriage is a small, privately owned business with that simple image of “just a girl & her horse.” While other companies expanded to manage multiple drivers over many carriages, we’re able to keep our attention on you and our horses, offering quality, memorable tours of Central Park at a high level of customer satisfaction & animal welfare.
When you book a ride through our website you’re dealing directly with horse carriage operators, so you won’t face any booking fees. We strive to run our operation by the book and we're proud union members of TWU Local 100. Unlike some riskier ways to tour the park, NYC horse carriages are inspected & licensed by DCWP, carry insurance coverage, have horses welfare guaranteed by strict multiple city agency regulations, and are driven by DOHMH licensed & trained drivers to ensure a safe ride.
