“We'd been hesitant about this experience, but then tried it on an impulse and are so glad we did. The charming young lady who drove us was very communicative throughout the hour, and told us Canadians a lot about (her) life in the US and NY as well as about the various landmarks along the ride. NY in March is bitterly cold and windy, yet we felt warm and snug in our open carriage. We would choose her again in a heartbeat - and you don't have to pick the one that's at the head of the line. We were especially impressed regarding her bond with her horse, which she treats with care and affection. She's the only female carriage driver on the block so should be easy to find!”

“This was a very good tour. We had reservations for early evening but it happened to be on a had/humid day, so our tour had to be rescheduled for later that night. They don’t let the horses out in certain temperatures, etc. which makes us happy that they care so much for the welfare of their animals. Our tour ended up being 9:30 at night, which was okay, harder to see certain things, but that’s okay. It was a lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed Jill our tour guide. Would recommend!”

“Night time Ride. It was a bit cool as the remnants of Dorian passed by the City. Our driver gave us a warm blanket and was very knowledgeable about the history of Central Park. She stopped several times to take pictures of us with a very picturesque skyline view behind us, at The Fountain, The Mall, and the tribute to John Lennon, Imagine, display. She also pointed out the areas where the too-numerous-to-mention movies had been filmed. We really enjoyed our ride and I am very please that I chose THIS company over the others that were available.”

Our guide was the best, she was very knowledgeable and friendly, she obviously cared deeply for her horse (Nicky) and made sure we had a great time. “We took the 55 minute evening (7:30) ride and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our driver was waiting for us when we arrived 15 minutes early, introduced us to her horse, and took family pictures before we boarded the carriage. Her experience was immediately apparent as she narrated the various points on interest along the way, both inside and outside the park. We never felt rushed and she answered all our questions. We had ample opportunity to take pictures and our guide took pictures of all of us at a few stop points. This was our first “event” after arriving in NYC earlier that afternoon and we could not have asked for a better way to inaugurate our trip…It also is apparent that our guide cared for deeply for the horse and his well-being, which we appreciated. All in all an excellent value. We recommend it highly.”

She was very knowledgeable of the surroundings, offered a pleasant and informative tour band allowed us to explore select stops on our own as well. Central Park is magical in the snow and this was the perfect way to see it. The carriage and horse were beautifully turned out and the driver provided us with a very informative running commentary throughout our ride. She took the time to take some excellent pictures for us on our phones and overall we felt the ride was worth every penny. Being able to pre book online enabled to plan our day and avoid the large number of other providers trying to get your business at Central Park. If you are in New York this is an excellent way to spend a relaxing hour away from the hustle and bustle and take in some well known sights from many films and TV shows.”

“Highlight of our NYC visit. A carriage ride in Central Park was the top of our ‘first trip to NYC things to do’ list. Everything about this experience was wonderful. Four of us had booked the 55 minute tour with photo stops thinking we would stop to take photos. To our delight our driver offered to become our photographer using our phones so we now have FABULOUS couples and group shots because she took such care to set the shots and took several on each phone. Our driver was just wonderful! She knew so much and delivered information in a conversational manner unlike some tour guides who simply recite their script. It was evident that she loves her guests, her park, and her job. (We also enjoyed feeding carrots to our horse and could see he is well cared for.) We would wish this experience for anyone.”

“Great way to see major sites in park. During my recent third visit to New York, my mother in law mentioned that she’d always wanted to go on a carriage ride through Central Park. I have visited Central Park many times but I thought it would be nice. Our driver took us to so many locations within the park and explained the history of the park development as well as different sculptures and areas of the park I didn’t know existed. We had an amazing hour ride and I would recommend it to get a good idea of the park. The photos our driver took were also amazing, will help us remember the great time we had!”

“Super relaxing evening while getting to learn a little more about Central Park. Admittedly, my trip to NYC was a little tight on time, but I wanted my niece to see a little of Central Park, so we signed up for one of the hour long tours and it turned out to be a great experience. I am remiss in not remembering the young lady’s name that was our driver, but she was super polite and knowledgeable and highlighted the ride with interested tidbit throughout the ride while still creating a relaxing environment.
